Develop your inner power to transform your lifeI www.mydearstudents.in

The quality, size and life of a plant
are decided by its seed. In the seed itself, the nature of the plant is inherent.
Similarly, the destiny of a person is innate in his qualities. If a person
possesses the qualities which are required to become prosperous and successful,
sooner or later that person is bound to attract his desired success. He needs a
platform in him on which he can set the foundation for his future life. That platform is nothing but virtues or
qualities. The Greek Philosopher Plato once said, “Virtue is Knowledge”. Many
Years later Francis Bacon also declared, “Knowledge is power.” It is therefore virtues that is at the root of all actions. It is the knowledge that arises out of virtues drives
a person into action and nothing else. When a person knows how the virtues or
vices control his destiny, he is bound to take action upon it.
1.
Self-control:
The most important virtue that you need to control
your life is first to ‘take control of yourself’. If you put your life on unconscious
auto mode, it will lead you anywhere without your active involvement or
conscious control. You will not be in a position to control and create your own
destiny if you allow yourself to work without any plan for your life. The
conditions and circumstances will be created by external factors and you will
be bound to follow them. Wait for a moment and ask yourself these questions:
Do
your emotions or impulses control over you frequently?
Do you fail to undertake any consciously planned task on time?
Do
you keep on procrastinating on important activities?
Do
you need constant emotional support from other people?
If
your answers to these questions are Yes, then perhaps you are not in proper control
of yourself. Conditions and people will keep on influencing you continuously. Any Journey towards Achievements begins with
controlling all your senses and focusing all your energies on the activities
that will lead you towards your Goal. Unless and until you can control yourself
first, you can’t control any external conditions. Your internal conditions are
responsible for all your external circumstances. Thought manifests and also
your emotions. If you don’t take steps to work for your personal growth
consciously, other people will work upon you to their advantage. For your
personal transformation the first quality you need therefore is ‘self-control’.
2.
Discipline:
Discipline implies following your daily prioritized
activities or a Daily
Routine. Only daily disciplines that you set for yourself will keep you
organized. Unorganized activities will lead to chaos. Whether you control your conditions
to achieve your goal or conditions control you to the chaos that is totally your
personal choice!
Discipline isn’t a mechanical process. Doing
something only for the sake of doing is not enough. You need to add the right
attitude with it and that is sincerity. It is like adding flavor to your
dishes. You need to learn how to enjoy the process. How earnestly and with what
tremendous spirit you can follow your prioritized activities that are more
important than following any activity without any enthusiasm.
3.
Integrity:
Faith is power. Faith both internal or
external is important i.e. gaining faith from within and also from other people. You can’t prosper if you can’t
earn the faith of your own self and also from other people.
Ask yourself this question:
How
trustworthy are You?
Do
you implement your Decisions?
Do
you keep the promises made to other people?
Do
you keep the promises you make for yourself?
Do
you give up your endeavours when you face obstacles or You overcome any number
of obstacles that come your way to complete your work?
Please
remember you can never become a confident person if you can’t earn your own
faith. You will not be able to think big and achieve greater things without
faith in yourself. At the same time to achieve BIG SUCCESS, you will always need
the faith of other people upon yourself. Alone you are nothing. When you are
trusted and relied upon by other people your success becomes exponential.
4.
Humbleness:
Conduct is the root of prosperity. Great leaders and
successful people are very humble, amicable, and suave in character. They by
dint of their conduct can create an everlasting impact on the minds of people. On
the other hand, egoist and arrogant people can’t achieve and sustain great
success. A person who isn’t liked by the people and who can’t maintain healthy
communication with people will be rejected. He will never be able to create an
impact. He will not be able to climb the high ladders of success. All the doors
of possibilities and prosperities will be open to him, who is willing to serve,
willing to take more responsibilities, willing to work hard without grumbling,
with devotion and humbleness.
5.
Positive
Thinking:
Positive Thinking here I mean thoughts that help you
stick to your goal and never quitting. Positive Thinking means thinking and
acting rightly. It means maintaining the right attitude towards your goal, which
you have decided consciously for yourself. Only a positive thinker never quits.
Positive thinking must be accompanied by positive
behaviour. If all your learning, attitude, affirmations, resolutions, and
decisions are not reflected in your behaviour, you have learned nothing. Learn
things effectively. Failure to learn is learning to fail. Therefore following
earnestly what is right for you is very vital to your mindset and success.
Start the day with Positive Thoughts. Read some
pages of good books or listen to some good thoughts and carry those vibes with
you throughout the day. Obstacles are not there to make us weak; their presence
is to make us stronger. Don’t allow problems to take your smile away from
you. Face it boldly with all your strength and always choose to be happy
consciously. A positive thinker can only remain happy. A happy mind can in turn
become more creative, energetic, and productive.
6.
Patience
and Perseverance:
Patience is the mother of all virtues. Keeping
yourself calm and cool during adversities, refraining from undertaking any
activities that may create more problems, not speaking any word that may injure
other people which in turn may also affect you, not allowing anger and other
vices to rule over you are very important in life. Life tests us many times. If
we lose patience even for a second and do something which is not to be done, we
may invite misfortune for our whole life. We need to be very careful and alert
in all our actions and behaviour.
7.
Being
Conscious:
People are generally inclined towards automatic
behaviour. They decide things automatically; do things automatically many times
without any reason. People aren’t in their conscious control. They even don’t
know what they are doing, why they are doing and in which direction they are
moving. Unless and until people become conscious about these ‘what, why and how's,
answer to the problems will not be revealed. Therefore, you need purpose or
goals in life. You need a mission and also a vision to accomplish your Mission.
You can’t achieve anything and everything in life unless you focus and
channelize all your energies in achieving them. You need to center your
consciousness on your mission and leave all other things on your priority
list. Only Conscious activities will give you clarity. Without clarity of
thought, purpose, and direction you will remain in utter darkness.
8.
Capacity
to Suffer:
A person who wants to transform his life must be
industrious and has the capacity to suffer at his own self-will to undertake
all those endeavors which are important to realize his goals. He must possess
all the essential courage and make himself free from unreasonable fear to rise
to the position he wants to achieve.
Whatever happens, therefore, you must not deviate
from undertaking all those activities that lead you to realize your goals. You
must never make achieving your goals conditional. There shouldn’t be any
compromise in relation to the achievement of your goal. You must be able to
control your anger, joy, pride, shame, or sense of inferiority or superiority
that may distract you to achieve your chosen goals. Fear of consequences must
not resist you from doing your duties that will lead you to your goal. If you
want to undergo massive personal transformation to achieve your goals, you must
give up excessive sleep, anger, fear, laziness, and procrastination. You must
act firmly and consciously guided by reason and not emotion. You must develop
the capacity to work relentlessly and never stop mid-way. All these require
your willingness to sacrifice things which are although alluring but not
important for you. You must be willing to suffer at your own self will by
giving up all the luxuries and working harder relentlessly everyday to achieve
those things which you consider important for yourself.
